Market launch of the unrivaled German software for the establishment of an information security management system compliant to ISO 27001

Tuebingen, October 01, 2007. science + computing ag exclusively presents the new German version of Risk Management Studio from the Icelandic company Stiki at the German trade show Systems 2007. The software helps companies to introduce their own information security management system in compliance with ISO 27001. It is the only software of its kind that is available in a German version.

Companies planning to introduce a comprehensive information security management system that is certified compliant to ISO/IEC 27001 often fear high expenditures, large costs and excessive collaboration with external consultants on the road to certification. With Stiki Risk Management Studio (RM Studio), however, these companies can gear their information security towards ISO 27001 by virtue of their own strength.

„The work with the RM Studio is simple,„ says Dr. Joerg Kuemmerlen, Certified Lead Auditor and Senior Security Consultant at science + computing. „You just have to gather your assets and evaluate them based on your safety requirements. Then you adjust the desired risk level and RM Studio immediately recommends security measures, which are compliant to ISO 27001”. That way you could independently prepare a certification to a large extent.

To implement a comprehensive information security management system into an organization, a wide variety of requirements must be fulfilled, including requirements for asset management, risk assessment, business continuity management and ongoing risk monitoring.
