s+c joins ASAM e.V.

s+c recently became a member of the Association for Standardisation of Automation and Measuring Systems (ASAM). The aim of the association is to promote the international standardization of automation and measuring systems. For this purpose ASAM has developed a range of standards for different aspects of the life cycle of measuring data, ranging from the communication of measuring data recording systems to interfaces for data evaluation.

The ASAM/ODS standard also provides a generic data model, interfaces, syntax and formats for selective accessing, exchanging, and storing measuring data.

In recent years, s+c has realized a number of projects that used the ASAM/ODS standard for saving and managing measuring data in databases in test bench environments.
