Having founded the networking community open source berlin, five software and consulting companies located in Berlin concentrate their competencies in developing and marketing open source software. With their know-how to tailor free software components to customer requirements, the founding companies have been successful for more than 10 years acting as inter-regional IT service providers. The community plans to advertise more intensely the capabilities of free software and to promote widely their competencies accumulated in the network.
