Security audit in a government agency
A government agency with 200 employees wanted to assess the security of its IT in order to locate any possible vulnerable points in the system. s+c performed a comprehensive security audit for the agency. All components, beginning with the physical security, such as outside access to critical systems, and including the virus scan software, were examined according to a predefined security profile. As a result of the audit, the agency received a document detailing the current IT security situation and a catalogue with recommended measures that were needed to realize the desired security profile.
High availability service for a satellite Internet provide
A satellite Internet and telephone provider wanted to make its central Mail, Web and FTP services highly available. s+c developed a concise solution using Linux servers based on SuSE 8.0 and realized them for the customer. The solution was combined with a disaster recovery concept to guarantee fast recovery of the services in case of a problem.
A complete IT security solution for an engineering office
A small engineering office with three employees that makes calculations for automobile subcontractors authorized s+c to implement the entire network connection for the company. It was important for the client to have the security solution come from a single provider in order to avoid having to coordinate a lot of different contacts. The exact specifications were clarified in coordination with the client during the consulting phase. The second step was the implementation of the project by s+c: Everything, from the choice of the provider to the configuration of the virus scanner, was accumulated for the client from one source. The engineer office's email and web servers were integrated into the platform using the scSecureServer.
