Optimizing access to a PDM system
To enable engineers to prepare their calculation processes as quickly as possible, s+c developed a framework that allows to easily and simply extract data from a PDM system. The link was made such that the required data was automatically extracted for the corresponding calculation process. At the same time, users can, without difficulty, extend the solution for other future extractions.
Care and extension of solutions for ride and handling simulation
s+c maintains several solutions for ride and handling simulation that were developed by the customers themselves. In doing so, s+c - among other things - created links to additional modelings. s+c also created interfaces, for example, to HIL solutions on a wide variety of hardware platforms. Now the whole range of hardware can be addressed, from prototype hardware to standardized industry systems, from standard PCs to high-end visualization systems. For these projects, s+c also developed and implemented quality control concepts.
Migration and transfer of HIL test stand components
s+c have evaluated several HIL test environments. As a result, for cost and performance reasons, Unix systems that communicate with the test stand were replaced by Linux or Microsoft Windows PC workstations. s+c also handled the transfer of the installed software to the new platforms.
Main contractor for the replacement of a ride and handling test stand
As the main contractor, s+c coordinated the replacement of the visualization, control and regulation components of a ride and handling test stand. s+c was responsible for the entire project, from the creation of the concept to the implementation of the system. The system is based on Matlab/Simulink and is implemented using hardware provided by dSPACE.
Evaluation of a DDM system for semiconductor development
s+c analyzed and assessed the way a semiconductor development department worked with its design-data management system. Based on the results, s+c developed various optimization scenarios for extending the DDM system and making it more flexible, and also determined the cost-effectiveness of the various scenarios. The customer adopted the results of the evaluation as the basis for its decision to further develop its DDM.
