Know-how for a productive virtualization solution
As an IT service provider for sophisticated computer networks, part of our core business is to design and support complex server environments. We also deal with parallel computing (HPC), load sharing, and grid technologies on an everyday basis. We have tried-and-tested, cutting-edge concepts on integrating new infrastructure into regular operations.
Success stories
HA solution
For an automobile manufacturer, we created a plan for virtualizing its existing Windows cluster environment. The project aimed to improve the stability of systems, boost reliability, and cut costs.
Use of legacy operating systems
We also designed and performed migration to Microsoft Virtual Server and Virtual PC for an automobile manufacturer. Special applications for measurement applications that require outdated operating systems such as Windows NT4 and Windows 98, can therefore continue to be used on the updated hardware.
Development and test environments for servers
We manage the test and development environment for the server infrastructure of an aerospace company. Over 100 virtual servers, running on VMware technology, are in use.
Software development environment
Our internal software development team needed a suitable 64-Bit virtualization solution for software testing. After a thorough evaluation we now use the opensource software Xen.
